Keith Urban checks into rehab....

NASHVILLE, Tennessee (AP) -- Keith Urban has checked himself into a rehabilitation treatment center, less than four months after the Grammy-winning country singer's marriage to actress Nicole Kidman.
Urban released a statement Friday that said he entered rehab Thursday night with his wife by his side.
"I deeply regret the hurt this has caused Nicole and the ones that love and support me," Urban said in the statement.
Urban, who turns 39 on October 26, has publicly acknowledged a former addiction to cocaine.
"One can never let one's guard down on recovery, and I'm afraid that I have. With the strength and unwavering support I am blessed to have from my wife, family and friends, I am determined and resolved to a positive outcome."
All immediate appearances for his forthcoming CD will be postponed. "Love, Pain, & the whole crazy thing" was set for release November 7.
Kidman and Urban, who were both raised in Australia, married on June 25 in Sydney. They then moved to Nashville, where Urban records.
Urban won a Grammy this year for best male country vocal performance for "You'll Think of Me."

Yes DBG, the important thing is that he is seeking the treatment and help that he needs. I imagine it is very hard for an entertainer to admit that he/she has had a relapse. Being in the public's eye as they are must be very hard. I hope that he is successfull with the recovery.

I am a huge K. Urban fan..I hope he gets the help he needs..I've traveled many a mile to watch him perform..everyone makes mistakes..atleast he realizes he needs some help..I'll keep him in my prayers..GO KEITH!!..:)

I love Keith Urban! I saw he and Nicole at the CMA Festival in Nashville this early June right before their wedding and they looked so happy. She didn't come on stage but we got a peek at her with him behind the curtains while we were waiting in the photo line. I'm glad to hear that she's being supportive. I hope that he will be successful with his rehab and I admire his honesty.
