COTR Live on DLive!
I was just wondering what everyone thought about getting the COTR day parade live on the internet? I am testing video feeds from my house to see what kind of bandwidth it will take to give everyone that can't make it to the parade a good feed from the net. We hope to get it done by COTR, and we'll be commentating along with you viewing the parade. If I could get a good net connection somewhere around the yacht basin, we could get the night parade as well......we'll take any suggestions!

Sounds great, why don't you work on the night parade as well. Some of us hate getting out and fighting the crowd and would be tickled pink to stay at home and check out the festivities. I'll be looking forward to the update.

Great idea. Some folks tell me they would love to see the day and night parades but can't due to age, transportation, or simply not wanting to get out and fight for space. Good luck with this. It would be a great service.

Looks like everything is going well, I've had pm's from the admins and from other members helping out. I think we have a net connection for the night parade. I'll let everyone know when everything is set in stone.

That would be neat....wish y'all had done this a couple of years ago when we lived in Arkansas when we were not able to make it back here for Christmas on the River. This would be great for members on the site who won't be able to make it to COTR this year.

I'm glad we've moved back to Demopolis and we're able to take our kids to their first Christmas on the River and let them see what I've enjoyed growing up!
