Well, I really don't know how to start this off. I've been pondering over this "season" for a few weeks now. I'll have to say I don't think there is a bigger fan of Grey's Anatomy than me..but I'm really bummed out about this season..It just doesn't seem good to me at all. McDreamy is becoming McDrama..the biggest part of the show that is so catchy is the whole sleezyness of it..haha..
I've been spending alot of nights watching the past 2 seasons on dvd..and I must say..this season is quite boring..big deal Christina is running the O.R. board for Burke...I am just completely bothered by this whole season..nothing is going on..it's like the writers have some sort of writers block or something..
I've talked to alot of people about this and they feel the same way..
So D-Live..what do u think about this season?
You wouldn't worry so much about what people thought of you if you knew how seldom they did.

i agree shopgal. i have been somewhat disappointed in this season. i enjoyed the desperate housewives premier more than grey's anatomy. i'm getting bored with the whole meredith/derek thing. they have been dragging this on too long. the recent behind the scenes drama has been more interesting lately ( fight between patrick dempsey and isaiah washington ). don't get me wrong, i love the show but they need to step it up a notch. i find myself looking forward to desperate housewives more than grey's anatomy.

I agree shopgal.....it seems everyone is on a pity party for some reason this season! I must say that McSteamy has kept things quite interesting..and McDreamy's sister, I wanted to punch her! Anyway, yes, they need to step it up a bit, even my post is getting boring! LOL

Well, next week McSteamy is going to be doing some serious flirting with Meredith. If McDreamy takes too long to find himself, he may lose out to his former BFF again. I don't think there's any way he'll let that happen.
I think the lead-up to the finale of season 2 was so incredible that the writers had to step back a little. It will definitely heat up again. I'm a fan of The Young and the Restless. It has been like that this year too. It was so incredibly hot for a while that I couldn't tear my eyes off the screen. Then some major issues were resolved and there was a boring period of about a month. Now it has really heated up again. Grey's Anatomy will do the same.
I don't mind the focus on Burke and Christina. I love them as a couple, and what she is doing for her man, both personally and professionally, is awesome. Of all the interns, there is no doubt that she will be the most brilliant surgeon. Now that Bailey realizes that Christina is the one who wiped her off the board for Burke's humpty-dumpty surgery, there's going to be a lot more intensity.
Hated Derek's sister, but I actually find myself liking Addison a lot (now that she's not chasing a dead relationship with Derek). I love Alex and his inability to stay away from the OB suite. Izzy would make a great psychiatrist, if she doesn't flip out and fall for a patient again. (Okay, Denny was a totally unrealistic story line from a medical perspective, but it was some of the most beautiful TV I've ever seen. I cry every time I see Alex pick Izzy up off the hospital floor in that pink dress.)
Callie is too hot for George. She might be just what the Chief needs though. I still love the show and run lots of different ideas through my brain. I have read from the chief writer that there will definitely be a wedding between major characters this season. That will be fun to look forward to.
(((Personal note: I imagine only Grey's Anatomy fans are reading this, so I'm going to sneak in something a little personal. I MAY be adopting a baby girl within the next 8-12 months. The top runners for her name are: (1) Meredith and (2) Addison. I've always loved the name Meredith, but I admit the idea for Addison came from the show.)))
Remember, all shows have dry patches, but Grey's Anatomy will heat up again before too long.

OH my goodness!! Congrats on the future news..I hope and pray everything goes well for you. I do like both the names..they are beautiful..I do see your point on the show..I guess I'm just so bored with the whole thing at this point..I always find myself going back to my dvd pile to watch the "good" shows..haha..

I have to agree with you also Jenn, Grey's Anatomy has become boring! I do like the way Alex has taken a different turn and is starting to show interest in the OB unit! It really fits him I think. The situation with Callie and George is just overbearing. And I'm ready to slap McDreamy and tell him to wake up and get over himself. And as for Meredith she better not fall for McSteamy!!!
