NC and I just got back to the motel from the Bob Seger concert in Knoxville, TN. If anyone has any doubts about whether this old schoool Detroit rocker can put on a concert.... let me tell you! It was the best money we've spent on a concert YET!!!

We departed Demopolis about 9am headed for Knoxville, TN. We encountered snow south of Fort Payne which was on again off again tilll we got north of Chattanooga. We made it to Knoxville about 3:30pm CDT, checked into our hotel, then went to find the Thompson - Boling Arena where the concert was held. After we ate, we went on to the concert. Doors opened at 6:30pm EDT and the concert started promptly at 7:30pm. Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band made the stage about 9pm and played their hearts out, leaving and coming back to the stage for 2 encores before finally calling it quits for the night around 11pm EDT! They played a few of the new songs off their new album "Face The Promise" as well as many favorites off his older albums. Seger still sounds just like he does on his older albums from the 60's, 70's, and 80's!

No pics though.... all cameras were banned. I left mine at the hotel rather than try to get it in and have to hike it back to the truck.

If any of you have the chance to catch his tour in the next few months, I promise it will be well worth your time and money!!!!
