It's located on Hwy 80E just past the eyeglass place, probably a mile or so east of town (on the right if you're heading towards Selma); it is between 1/8 and 1/4 mile past where highway 80 narrows to 4 lanes.
It is fully-equipped to teach Tae Kwon Do.
They teach: weaponless self defense, knife defense and disarmament, firearm disarmament, grappling, and more!
They teach effective self-defense sparring rather than tournament style point sparring.
I live in Tuscaloosa right now, so I don't know what ther current rates are in Demopolis, but they are definitely cheaper than T-town. Last I checked, Demopolis Karate does NOT charge a testing fee, and I believe that a uniform is free with signup. Your only expenses at Demopolis Karate will be your membership (used to be monthly, 3-month, 6 -month, and 12-month rates, but i don't recall the exact rates), new belts when you pass a testing, and the boards when you have to break wood, which is MUCH cheaper than other schools; I don't know about Ross TKD in Demopolis, but James Bailey TKD in Tuscaloosa costs ALOT, just google . I guaran-dayum-tee that Demopolis Karate is a good deal and is definitely worth the money. Just check it out for yourself! free introductory class!
Some of the ranks are a little out of date, but if you click the name, the link is a picture and title of the blackbelt. This list is by no means a complete list of Black Belts at Demopolis Karate (yes, there are MORE!), so if you want to see them all, you need to go check out Demopolis Karate!
