I saw an eletronic version of sudoku either at wal mart or food world and I was wondering if anyone has purchased one and if so how easy is the device to use.

Sudoku is Japanese for "numbers singly". Sudoku also refers to a numbers puzzle, originally developed for Dell Magazines 25 years ago, which has recently become very popular. For more background read the Wikipedia Sudoku page, or you can go to www.free-sudoku.net and play on there or print them out
Saw one at work (not sure if it's the same one). It was fairly small, and I couldn't figure it out. I enjoy Sudoku's BTW.

We got my stepdaughter one for Christmas and my husband really liked it. It wasn't too hard to figure out.

My son received one for Christmas. WE love it. I play it as much as he does.

I bought my husband one for Christmas. I ordered it from Penny's but I think it is very similar to the one at Wal-Mart and about the same price. I also saw one at Food World up towards the front of the store that looked really nice and had a bigger screen.
My husband must like it because it's always in his hands. When a game is won it plays a little song and that song is always playing. He is a Suduko addict.

I've seen someone with that, and it seemed easy enough. I've been doing them in puzzle magazines for years, since high school (almost 30 years), but they were called "Number Place" back then. Not sure why they've taken off under a Japanese name, but - meh. I also like the puzzles now called Kakuro (formerly called "Cross Sums" for almost 30 years). Waiting to see what they change the name of crossword puzzles and word finds to!

I have a co-worker who got one for Christmas & he can't seem to put his down. Kinda reminds me of an addict playing w/ a crack pipe.:)
