My bossman wants me to build a website for the company. Just one where we can put up pictures and rotate them around and parts. Is there anyone that can tell me what i need to do?

That's fairly easy to do Big Jim. We set up the layout, and the position of the pic (s) you want on there. then on your end, We'll set up the pics on your PC, each on in it's own folder, all with the same name as the pic you want to replace on the site. Then you can just overwrite the pic on the server, avoiding the need to change any HTML coding.

Or, if you're not updating the pics, just rotating a certain set of them, we could just set up a picture loader that's set to "rotate" the pics on a set schedule.

If you have a domain name, you'll just need a server to place the website on. Most internet accounts have webspace that comes with the account, or you can pay for a server. I'll set up something tomorrow and let you see what I'm talking about.

probably a milti page thing. Pictures on one and maybe parts on the other.I believe thats what he was wanting. WIlli be able to change the pictures myself at the shop?

It would be easier to just do a photogallery and have all your pics on the site.

I could set it up like you're saying, ut you will need to understand basic HTML and be able to upload and text edit on the FTP from your end (and make sure all pics your upload are the same width/height). Without an HTML editor, it will be difficult to do anything other than swap the pics in the same spot they are in.

If you are looking for something more user friendly; something with an admin panel that you could manage the site with, then you are talking a much bigger project that would cost.

They told me they have the the site....they own it.....How would i just get pictures onto it? Or does it work like that. I've never done this type stuff before.....It's probably chilish questions for this matter but o well....Thanks!
