Female driver drives off parking lot!
This was breaking news in Memphis this afternoon and it freaked me out.
I am not a fan of heights and can't imagine driving off a building. School leaders say she pushed the gas instead of the brake...Ya think?

Question....How does someone gain enough speed in a parking garage to break through a concrete wall? Sorry but if I hit the gas on accident, I think I would have let off of it before I gained that kind of speed. Just an observation.

Im glad that the driver was not hurt badly.

Actually, the first thing I thought when I saw the trajectory was "She would have had to SLAM her foot on the gas pedal and hold it there to get enough speed to land where she did." Particularly if she went through a concrete wall.

Maybe I'm crazy, but it seems like there's more to this than just a "Pruitt's" style accident (...and I'd better get a "Thanks" hit from EVERYONE who graduated from DHS in 1999 for that one )

Hahaha I was thinking the same thing Dem! You know what's even more ironic? The school she went to was in Memphis, only a different college! Only problem is, I'm not class of DHS 1999. I started off with yall, but ended up GED class of 2000! Hooray for my Good Enuff Diploma!
