J.Flockery, Oldman, Dave, Mustang65, myself, or you can take it to Network It/Radio Shack.


Just from that short description it could be as simple as a power supply.

I used Doug @ Radio Shack/Network IT a few years back & he fixed my problem for around $40. I had picked up a virus that crashed my hard drive. Try him or any of the other "techs" on D'Live.

You can also contact a guy named Michael Clements for ANY & ALL computer repairs. His number should be in the local phone book.

Just for the record, I run my own computer business, C&G Computers.

As Ranger said, might be a power supply, could be the motherboard, CPU, power surge corrupted the CMOS (seen it quite a few times), I've even had a bad modem cause one not to power on. It must have had a direct short to ground in the card itself, definately odd.

Oldman has worked on my computer and my daughters, was very reasonable and I didn't have to wait forever!I have not had any experience with any one else in town.

There is a place on Hwy 43 called Starlite Computers. I had a laptop that I have not been able to use for about four years because it would not turn on. He took a look at it and all it was was the adapter not getting any power. I was about ready to give up on ever getting it fixed.

There is also a guy who works from home named Glenn Waldrop, the guy at Starlite can put you in contact with him or you can PM me.
