Vernon (AP) - A Vernon man indicted in February on 149 counts of child porn has pleaded not guilty and not guilty by reason of insanity.
I heard about this guy several times on the news. Then I saw this article and it really just burned me up for someone to plead not guilty insanity. 149 different counts of child porn-JMO but thats not insanity thats a sickness.

Re: Insanity pleas/149 counts of child porn
oh Diva doll ....how I feel is that the whole thing makes me sick to my stomach. It seems to be a very convenient plea for someone who knows they are caught!

He won't get anywhere with it. Our resident board lawyers will tell you that the "insanity" defense probably has a less than 1% chance of success, but each will tell you that they would file as an attempt to represent their client.

I agree 149 counts is not insanity, it is sicko 149 times.yep its just to easy to be insane after a crime over and over again. it really tees me off too.!!!

Pardon if I offend the leftwingers on my statement that follows, BUT:
This is the result of lifting moral boundaries in society. So many people say that morality constricts and sets a judgment or religious standard to be forced upon others. Without boundaries in the moral fabric of society, everyone will do whatever they please. (Judges 21:25)
I have never met a person in my life that didn't want the line of morality for others, but not themselves. The reason so many reject Christ, and hence Christianity, is that He drew the line for everyone. (1 Peter 1:13-25)
Unfortunately for 149, nobody demanded that this man conform to a moral standard when he was a child. What is even probably more unfortunate according to psychological studies, this man was more than likely abused, too. That means that no one set a moral standard for the person who introduced him to this pattern of life.
"Insane"? No. Just add lying to the list of moral standards he has broken.

Well, he has to be in jail while waiting I suppose. That is great, they hate child preditors in prison. I also hope that he is punished for what he has done. You can not tell me that even if he was insane while doing these things that he did not snap out of it at least one time and know what he was doing. All I have left to say is. BOLOGNA!!

Don't bet on it..... He is probably at home doing the same old same old waiting on his court date to try and prove his insanity. The insanity plea gets run in the ground for things that are just down right wrong. He needs to be - - Well I won't go there, it would be to graphic for some of our users. You can just use your imagination.
