This is a tutorial on posting pictures to a post.
Part 1: Using [img] tags
Tags refer to the formating options seen at the top of the reply box. This image:

is used to place images in a post when it's already hosted on a server. This can be in the gallery, somewhere else on the web, in the uploader (donating members only), etc. To see where an image is hosted, simply right-click the image and select "properties". Copy the "Address (URL)" or "Location" of the pic. Then when you are ready to post the image, click the

button and paste the location in the box. Use "preview post" to see how it will look.
Part 2: Using the Gallery
The second way (preferred) to post an image is use the DLive Gallery. We have a "member uploads" section open to all members of the site. Images in the gallery may be posted in our forums, but not on other message boards. To use our gallery, click the "upload" link, select the category best suited for your pic, and click "continue". Here you will see a bunch of boxes with the word "browse". Click one and select the picture off your computer for upload. Fill in the blanks below that (title, description, etc.) and click "upload". Once it's uploaded, you'll be taken to the pictures page. Below the picture is the "URL", and [img] code for that picture. copy the [img] code and paste in your post.
Part 3: Using Attachments
Attachments can be uploaded from the post and are displayed as thumbs. To attach an image, scroll down below the text box where you type your post and click the "manage attachments" button. In the pop-up window, upload using the "browse" button and click "upload". Once finished, the images will be attached to the post. If you wish to remove one or more, you may do so by clicking the "manage attachments" button again before posting the thread. To see how attachments look, check the
Dining Guide menus.
