NCAA alleges potential violations at Tennessee. Says Fulmer tried to lure recruits with pizza and donuts. Also, Fulmer may be charged with interfering with the investigation because he ate all the evidence.

Alabama will play tough but Tennessee (and Fulmer especially) will not lose at home. Fulmer will be determined not to get beat by the Tide after all the talk this past year concerning Fulmer helping with the NCAA investigation on Alabama. Tempers will flair and I believe this will be a rough game, for both the players and the fans.

Prove me wrong Bama.

Hey, I love the Tide as much as anybody! They are getting plenty of my money right now and have my support. But come on! Shula for life??? I really like him, and I believe he can do the job. But I don't want to see Shula stay IF Alabama is not seriously competetive within a few years. And I don't mean just a winning season against a pretty easy group of teams. I mean SEC championships, major bowl games, and a shot at a national title. Maybe that is dreaming big, but that is what Tide football has always been about. I also don't think that Mike Shula, if he winds up unable to deliver these things, would want to stay in Tuscaloosa and let the glorious tradition die. Right now things are looking better, but I'm going to have to wait a while before I can say "Shula for life!"

I hope Alabama is competetive against Tennessee, and underdog wins are what makes college football exciting. I'll be pulling for the Tide all the way. But Alabama 42, Tennessee 17???
Come on, Ramma! I wouldn't put my money on it. (If I gambled, which I don't of course!)

BTW, as much as I love the Tide, have y'all seen Auburn play ball this year? It is like poetry in motion. There may be a national championship team from our state this year after all.

If anyone has read my previous posts, they know that I didn't want Shula for a coach, nor do I want to keep him. That was actually a joke the "Mike Shula coach for life" comment. I have very little confidence in his coaching ability. While I would like for it to be 42-17 or something of that nature, I don't actually believe it will be that score.

Oh and btw Auburn will find a way to blow the season this year, some way some how they will, they always do.

I am the biggest Bama fan you can find but i have to say that Auburn looks like the real deal this year. If they blow it this time with the schedule they have left then i say Tubberville will go

I hope they stay undefeated and Bama beats em! That would be my birthday and Christmas present!! And then Mike Shula will be coach for life. If he does that, they should even open a Mike Shula Museum and name a Mike Shula Blvd.......

What if they do go undefeated and the BCS still doesn't give them the championship?

I say in a tight one it will be Bama 24-Tenn. 21.As far as the Iron Bowl,I think Auburn might beat the crap out of Bama this year and I'm a Bama fan.But if it is on the way to win a national championship then I might be able to take the lose a little easier.

I have to admit though, if they go undefeated and don't get a chance at the National Title it's not fair. If Bama was in the same situation we wouldn't be happy either.

i still think we (auburn) will go undefeated...but based on the bcs (which with only its first poll has already shown its still whack) we wont get a shot at the title...while that really ticks me off, im ok with it as long as we whup up some tide butt...but if we go undefeated, we deserve consideration no matter who is ranked above us...GO TIGERS!!!

haha buffdaddy....If Auburn is still undefeated at the time of the iron bowl , auburn will walk away coachless and winless and national championshipless and tails tucked between their legs. ROLL TIDE!

Oh how I miss Alabama. We have the egg bowl here but I still believe Auburn/Alabama is the best rivalry.

"im ok with it as long as we whup up some tide butt"

That has been my point for years. There are two different goals at Alabama and Auburn.

Alabama's goal= Win National Title

Auburn's goal= Beat Alabama

Thats why you will never have the tradition the Tide has!
