I just thought I would let you know that my husband, Tony, just opened up a place on hwy 80 West (next to the Tobacco Leaf) that has pool tables, foosball table, and a juke box. He sells snacks, mexican drinks (non-alcoholic), and has miscellaneous items for sale. Also, there are booths and tables to sit at. I just think it is a great place for people of all ages who want to get out and have a little fun without going into a "bar" type atmosphere. So, if you feel like getting out and playing a game of pool with Tony, come check us out!

What are the hours of Operation?

As of right now, the hours are Monday - Thursday 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Saturday is 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sunday is 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. These hours could also change in the future. I guess we will just have to "play it by ear".

No, there is not an entrance fee. We make money off the games and we also sell snacks, drinks, videos, cd's, hats, etc. We also do international money transfers.

I see the hours posted up there my question is.. Are children allowed to come in? I ask this because most places where pool is shot is not a child friendly place. I was just wondering. Also I wanted to say that my husband and I love to shoot pool but we usually have to go all the way to Tuscaloosa to do it, so thank you and Tony for opening up such a place. LOL Demopolis need a good bowling alley next.

Yes, children can come in. So far I haven't seen any. Usually adults are going in there. We have booths and tables set up so they can sit there and have a snack while their parents are shooting pool. We have a foosball table, atari game, and a television. My child is up there every day. He loves it! However, I usually take him home around 7:30 or so.

Good Luck with your new business. We really needed a place like yours. My husband likes to play but he usually have to go to Boligee to his cousin's house to play. I had noticed cars out there and wondered whats was going on. You'll most likely be seeing us out there.

The rules are whatever you want them to be. (I guess it is like the bars)
