Thanks to all who have been so supportive of us. We had a very productive meting with Jim Parr this morning. We have reached an agreement on the ansul system as well as several other updates. They have agreed to do a lot that needs to be done and we agreed to a modest increase in rent. We also agreed on a 5 yr. lease. I think we both made good decisions. Thanks again for your kindness & well-wishes. Hope to see you at The Farmhouse soon.

Congratulations!!! I do insurance inspections for a living and I have had to look for Ansul systems and all types of safety issues. I know its a pain but in the long run it is better to CYA than to hope. good luck!!!

That's great! Kudo's to the Parr's as well for stepping forward and doing the right thing. Too many businesses are going under as it is around here, glad to hear some good news for a change.
Now if we could get some good news of businesses downtown I'll be a lot happier. :)

I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to the Parrs, and particularly Jim Parr for stepping up to the plate and getting things worked out with Jim & Gelean Wicks to keep the Farmhouse open and in it's current location!

I truly believe this will be a WIN - WIN situation for both sides! I look forward to eating me some good ol' home cooked vittles from the Farmhouse when I get back home!

Thanks! About the chicken salad, it is available from the kitchen all the time, we only have it on the salad bar if we have made more than we sell in a couple of days. I would rather let folks enjoy it than to have to throw it away. But you never know , always look.

I am so glad you were about to work out things to stay open. We used to come to your place every weekend just about when you were in Linden to eat. But since Nickolas' birth we rarely get to eat out and then it is only take out! I sure do miss your seafood buffet. Good Luck!
I remember your all being good customers and I am so sorry that you can't bring Nickolas' out to eat. I am praying that you will be able to get the help you need so you can get a well-deserved break. Thank you for your support.

I had the BEST broiled catfish at the Farmhouse last night that I have ever eaten. Also Melvin Mcpherson sang some relaxing music while we ate too. Good food and good music!!! It just dont get any better than that.

I don't know how well he could bowl but he still sings well and plays the guitar. Come out to hear him and support his efforts to raise some money for sav-a-life .We have been having a good time.

Went there today for lunch...... absolutley wonderful. Good food,fantastic service,great price. My party of five had all we wanted,including dessert,for less than we could have eaten at one of the fast food places,and it was already cooked!
Makes for a long afternoon though....wanted to take a little short nap..about three hours :D
