Need help restoring my wireless connection

My computer fu sux and I need help reconnecting to my wireless thing. I accidently deleted my connection the other day now I cant find the network key it asks for to get connected. I tried to make one up and it will connect but it says its looking for IP addy, I tried the repair feature and it will not restore my IP addy. Please HELP!!!!!!!!

If you have a wireless router you should be able to reset it and then create a new network key

Easiest way to fix it--just unplug the router, hold the reset button in on the back for at least 30 seconds, then plug it back up. Start your wireless connection up and you should see the network. Connect to it and goto the router address to set your key, etc.
