Pit Bull Stolen
my sister had a pit bull, red and white in color stolen off his runner in the yard just south of Chickasaw Park 2 days ago. He is a friendly dog, the only request her son had before dying of cancer last year was " Momma, please take care of my dogs". 3 witnesses saw the car at the house and on the road leaving the house, it was a nissan or honda with the color change paint from burgundy to bronze and had clear lenses on the tail lights. If anyone knows this car, please let us know or contact Marengo County Sheriff's Dept. It was a white female driving and black male in the passenger side. It happened at 2:35 Monday afternoon.

Oh I hope you find your fur baby, I would call around and alert the pound and vet's office just in case the people who took her decide to get rid of her or if they take her to the vet, I would also take a picture and post it at the vets office.

thanks but this not a dog that one would take to a pound. He would be more likely to show up where they fight dogs or use for wild hog hunts.

I hope you are able to locate him. If you do get him back I would microchip him. It's fairly inexpensive. I have a Blue American Pit Bull Terrier and I think it cost $70.00 to have him chipped and $25.00 for the activation fee. If I remember correctly he can be located within so many miles.

That money gives me peace-of-mind.

I sure do hope you will find him. I lost my boxer about a month ago and put and add in the shopper on that Monday. We got a phone call on Wednesday and it was our dog. I will be praying for you!

as much as i hate to say it, your right. they will also take free puppies and kittens to "train" their dogs. how sick. keeping you and your baby in my thoughts and prayers for a safe return.

Just a word of caution: They fight dogs in Sumter County alot of times on Saturdays....my brother lives over there near Bellamy and they can hear them at their house.

I do hope that your dog is found and returned safe.

Tell him to call the police!!!!!!!! Those dogs have not done anything to be treated as such.

Pit Bulls are good dogs, it's all about how they are raised. The saying goes, "Don't hate the breed, hate the deed."

The dogfighters should be punished!
