I went to the Greensboro Animal Clinic today with one of my babies and I absolutely loved it! I do not know if it was because of the rain, but there were animals everywere. When I first walked in there was a cat sitting on the counter who greeted me and behind the counter in to office chairs was a cocker spaniel in one chair and a border collie in the other. Then the swinging door to the office opened, but I could not see who (or what) was coming through the door. Then out marched an English bulldog who checked us out and lead us back to the examining room (of course with Dr. Payne). It was a hoot! I felt like I was in a "Dr. Doolittle" show. Dr. Payne was great and took a lot of time with my puppy. Before I left I told Dr. Payne when I retired I wanted to work there in the office (just paper work, not injured or sick animals or I would cry all day) on a volunteer basis. I am so glad I finally decided to try them.

The bulldog in his office is my bulldogs daddy. He is Dr.Payne's dog and his name is Bully. He is one of the coolest dogs ever!
I absolutely adored him. It was so funny how he followed Dr. Payne's every move just like he was his nurse!

Those dogs have a personality and a love for their owners that is unbelievable. It is so cute how Bully comes out and inspects every new patient that comes in the door.
English Bulldogs for life!

I've always heard good things about that clinic. I would love to go just to see for myself the Doolittle side of it. Too cute that must be! Maybe one day. :-)

We take our dog over there to stay at the "spa" when we go out of town. Shuga doesn't put on the breaks when she prances in the door like she does here in town! I think she is quite enamoured with Bully.
You can't argue with crazy.
I used to have a handle on life, but it broke

I am so glad that you gave Dr. Jimmy a try. He is the very best vet and he really cares about your baby. He has been taking care of my animals since I was a baby. Cudos Dr. Jimmy.
I love that place!! Everyone there is so nice and helpful and they really care about animals. Now that I've been there I will never go anywhere else. They saved my cat several months ago after a local vet tried to kill him, they couldn't save his sister but they really tried and were very comforting when she didn't make it because of care given by another vet.
I love going in there to see what other new animals they have to meet...lol
