Omaha Steaks...

Just Curious? Yesterday in the mail I received a coupon from Omaha Steaks. It included a deal called the Fantastic Feast for $49.99.
4 Top Sirloins
4 Boneless Pork Chops
4 Chicken Breasts
4 Omaha Steaks Burgers
8 Gourmet Franks
2 Stuffed Sole w/Scallops & Crabmeat
4 Stuffed Baked Potatoes
I am picky about beef in general and am wondering if anyone has every purchased Steaks/etc from Omaha Steaks? Also, is this a good deal for a family of 2?
Thank you in advance. Hugs!

Re: Omaha Steaks...

we have received a similar deal in the past and we ordered it and it was great. My husband thought that for the money it was an excellent deal. You couldn't go to any store and buy all that meat for that price...it would be well over.

Re: Omaha Steaks...

I received an Omaha Steaks Christmas Gift one year from a dear friend.

They were shipped on dry ice and arrived in perfect condition. The cuts were filet mignons and very tender.

Re: Omaha Steaks...

I have purchased from them several times. The steaks are top of the line all though a little small for a man.The hamburgers and hot dogs are ok ,nothing special, just plain old hot dogs and burgers. It is a really good buy.

Re: Omaha Steaks...

I like Omaha Steaks and you cant beat the price but I LOVE Kansas City Steaks (they're more expensive than Omaha steaks though). Their rub is wonderful and can now be purchased seperately from their steaks. Their "steak burgers" were not my favorite however, they've got some that include various things that sound interesting....cheese, chili, bacon.....

Re: Omaha Steaks...

We have bought from Omaha Steaks several times. We think that the filets are the best and pay careful attention to the weight. The ones in the ads are usually very small. The other things are good and handy to have on hand. However, we have stopped buying from them because they call you constantly trying to sell and would not stop.

Re: Omaha Steaks...

We have received Omaha steaks, etc several times as Christmas gifts. Everything was great. The Hamburger steaks and hot dogs are very good.

This thread makes me hungry.
