Looking for Good Home for My Cat
I have a 9 year old black female cat to give away - my grandson is allergic and I must find her a good home. She comes with her kitty condo, food, water/feeder and a brush - She has been fixed and is very loving

Still looking for home for older felmale cat that has been "fixed" very loving, comes with kitty box, food, brush and kitty condo. Must find new home as grandson is alergic.

I have Ruthie's cat and it needs a good permanent home. This cat was a saved animal from the New Orleans flood and Ruthie took her in. She really needs a good and permanent home. She is a beautiful long haired kitty and very loving. I want to keep her so bad but my mean cat is not having it.

She looks exactly like a cat I had many years ago. If I didn't have a 16+ yr old cat, I would love to have her. Mine is a sweetie but doesn't make friends well. Good luck.

Oh wow, she's beautiful! Would she happen to have any experience being around a dog (crazy wild puppy to be exact) and other cats (2 females). I can't believe I'm even THINKING about this...but...a Katrina refugee, and a gorgeous one at that. Let me know about her temperment around other pets. Oh, and she would need claws to ward off the puppy. He's a handful.

She has her claws! She is doing really well around my cat as far as wanting to make friends but it is my cat that is being mean to her. I know he is just protecting his territory but I hate to see it.

Hi - yes, Jackie and our little pug dog were quite an item when we lived in Mobile - since coming to Demopolis though I kept the dog outside -as our landlord said a cat was ok but no dog inside - she has her claws - she is a very loving and well behaved cat and I hated to get rid of her - but grandson is alergic...sure miss her - but want to spend time with grandson also...hope this answers your question.

Thanks for the info Ruthie. I already have plans to pick Jackie up Saturday. She will be going to an indoor only home where I am sure my little girl will adorn her with much affection, my oldest cat will stare at her with disgust, my youngest cat will want to play with her all the time and our puppy, well, after a few swats to the nose he should get the hint to leave her well enough alone. Be assured she's going to a great home.

Thanks as well to whirlygurl for her time and for taking care of Jackie until I can get her picked up. See you Saturday.
