Demopolis beat the Beauregard Hornets convincingly tonight 43-22. Penalties left bad tastes in the fan’s mouths throughout much of the game. Marco Rembert was as always sensational, combining with Goodwin showcasing an option run attack they haven’t shown all year. The passing game was off, but was picked up by the defense and the running game. The Tigers will host Ashford on Nov. 15th.
<p>ABC World News Tonight aired a story on Nov. 8th regarding corporal punishment in schools. Their focus was Demopolis Elementary, where Michaela Curtis wants to sue the school board for allowing her son to get a paddling. She claims the paddling caused “deep bruising” to her son’s buttocks area. You can see the pictures shown on the show here (http://demopolis.biz/images/postsimages/bruise1.jpg) and here.
