Have any of you noticed that along Walnut beside the Mustard Seed and West Alabama Real Estate that they did not put as many parking spaces back after the paving....well there is a safety reason for that....BUT....why is it that several business owners/employees...one of whom is running for Mayor have to park in an unmarked spot and well over the crosswalk ?
My thought for the day !

Thank you!! I am so glad that someone else has noticed this! If it was any other person the police would probably write them a ticket. Some people just get special favors I guess.
So is the purpose of this thread to accuse a person of an issue ot to state a problem with parking downtown?
Sounds like both. There has and always will be a problem with parking downtown. Whoever is parking on the crosswalks (if that is what they are doing) need to be called on it and stop - No matter who they are.
Hey guys, Mike Grayson here.
I am guilty as charged.
I usually do park in the first parking space as more times than not I am the first one at the office or I am either carrying in or carrying out several files. I usually expect to be there only for a short time.
I did not realize there was a special favor involved. But in any event, I agree with everyone, special favors are wrong.
I apologize and promise not to do that any more.
Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

"Special favors" would indicate someone else was ticketed.
