Where is the school and where is the registration to be held?

West Alabama Christian School is located on the grounds of Fairhaven Baptist Church at 1504 Cardinal Ave., Demopolis, AL 36732. The registration will be held at the school.

Also, there is a waiting list for second grade. If the school can get ten students to register for second grade, WAC will hire a second grade teacher and have a second grade.

Don't forget about registration this coming Monday and Wednesday night at Fairhaven Baptist Church. Also, remember we are taking names for a second grade. If we get enough, we will also add this grade.

It is my prayer that many of you have spread the word about Demopolis having a Chrisitian private school rebuilding. The Lord has been gracious to bestow this gift upon Fairhaven Baptist Church, but has also placed a big task there to reach the children of Demopolis with His Word! We are equal to the task and sincerely hope that many of you and those you have told have bathed in prayer this alternative for children and will fill the classes to capacity, eager to see the school grow and be able to add at least one grade each school year and give the next generation a fruitful start!

If you are still unsure, this is also a great time to just come and ask any questions you may have! Board members and teachers will be present to chat with you! No question is silly. We are all in this together. Come by for more information!

Go to the back of the church, look directly to the right and the building that you see has a set of double doors. Go in those double doors and through the next set of double doors and you will be in the school.


Newport, I wasn't sure if you were just stating that the paper didn't mention where the reg. was held, or if you wanted to know. Anyway, hope this helps. :)

I am hoping that this school is a huge success and worried that the papers are not giving info regarding location and registration. I am sure people at Fairhaven are spreading the word and it is good to see it here, but I hate for anyone to wonder about it and not know who to ask.

Also, if you want some quick info, several of us have children who are students there...I know of myself, thegurlnextdoor, rammajamma, and mysteryinc. Our children completed Kindergarten there this past year and we were all very pleased, so send us a private message if you want to know more. There are probably others, but I don't know of them! There are several on here with children in West Alabama Christian Daycare, too, if you want to know more about it. They will function separately beginning in August, but housed in same buildings. Wareaglehey, philly2, myself, mysteryinc and rammajamma all have daycare kiddos, too.
The open registration starts TOMORROW! Don't forget!
