DHS Quarter Back and Win 98 Rodeo!!!

I wanted to say that the Rodeo was GREAT. I want to thank all the ones that have helped bring it to town. I thought there was a GREAT turn out for the first night. If you are looking for something for the whole family to do they are having another one tomorrow night at 8. Gates open early with all kind of things for the kids to do. Please go out and help support the DHS

It is at the Sportsplex & actually, it starts at 7 pm with the mutton bustin' (little kids riding the sheep-Ktherine McAlpine won last night, she rode that sheep like a pro-ha!). There were several "events" that involved local kids...mutton bustin, calf scramble, gold rush, & stick horse racing-last night it was a football player & cheerleader on each horse (WR Brian Taylor & Kathleen Randall won). Tonight the DHS football coaches will be racing on the stick horses....very funny. It really was a great family atmosphere. Lauri Anne Cameron has been the "chair" for the rodeo committee & she has really outdone herself. Great event/ fundraiser for DHS football.

My family is will going tonight. I think it will be fun. I know there are alot of people involved in bringing this together and if they all worked as hard as Laurianne Cameron then it should be a great money maker for the DHS football team. I work with her and she has been working her tail off to make sure this would be a great benefit for DHS.

the rodeo was amazing!!! i know the second one will be so much better!!!
