Sounds like the school where I work at. LOL Though I seriously know it is not funny! But, it is true. These girls are dying to have babies. There are a number of reasons: attention, someone to love, someone to love them, to trap their boyfriends, attention, attention....

In these times, why anyone would want to be tied down into this kind of commitment so early in life I'll never know.... It's sad when people don't take the opportunities they have to finish high school, get any kind of education they want, serve the country through the military, see the world, nail down a satisfying career...

who would choose "poo and puke and a ball and chain" for any of the above?

I was appauled when I heard that on the news last night. I'm almost 30 and often wonder how the heck I would even support a baby and I have a good job. I've still got more I'd like to accomplish before bringing a child into this world. At 16, they haven't had the opportunity to accomplish anything but ace sex ed. More babies being brought into this world by babies!

I sincerely hope this is an attempt a humor.

Heck if this was the case none of us would be here. Yep, I am sitting in my air conditioned home, driving my own truck to work every day, have food in the fridge, things are just horrible!

I do agree that these young girls should not even be considering such an endeavor. Parents should be mature, stable, and married (imo). But making a general statement as above is ridiculous.
