Land wanted in Demopolis area

My father-in-law recently sold his farm in Faunsdale and is currently looking for more land around Demopolis. He wants another farm of between 400 and 600 acres that would be suitable for cattle farming and hunting and possibly have a couple of home building sites ...He would like to find something on hwy 80 or 43n within about 10 miles of Demopolis. He would settle for a smaller tract of land if it is a prime piece of property... Anybody out there know of anything on the market by any individuals?? He has realtors looking for him already.

Paw has several realtors looking for him already stick...they aren't coming up with much...I was hoping an individual might have something out there they were thinking about selling but hadn't put it on the market yet. He only has 30 days to move about 100 cows and his tracotr and equipment or he will have to sell them too...Are you familiar with the old Joe Elam place in faunsdale...?? That is the place he just sold. Some cattle co out of Florida made him an offer he couldn't refuse or he wouldn't have sold it... at least not before having something else lined up first...

I just figured I might get lucky and find somebody on here that knows of something that isn't public knowledge yet...

He wants to buy Ranger... I already suggested that...I think I could persuade him to buy a smaller farm now and another piece later so if there is 200 or 300 acres out there that might work...He would prefer to keep it all together and buy big and be finished though. He had 520 acres in faunsdale and wants something similiar from what he is telling me. I am trying to help him cause I have horses that will have to be moved if he doesn't find something...

I looked at his website..there are a couple on there that I printed off to show Paw that he hasn't been told about...I think Tutt is mostly who he has talked to so far cause they handled the sale of his old place. I will tell him to be sure and check with Mackey if he hasn't already.

My step-son lived on the old place so he is also looking for a house in Linden or Demopolis...he is young so about 65 grand is about as high as he can go I would think...has 2 kids so he needs a 3 b/r 2b...
Anybody???
