Well, it is one of those things that I thought wouldn’t happen to me even though it has been happening all over the US. But Last night while I was parked at The Ramada Inn in Moss Point, Mississippi my vehicle was broken into. The perpetrators broke the back side window of my jeep and stole my Dell Laptop, 3 Paintball guns, Poker set and PS2.
I pulled up at the motel at about midnight on Tuesday I checked and went to the room and when I walked out at 6:30am is when the nightmare began. I always bring laptop in the room with me, but I had forgot about it even being with me, because it was in the very back where it was placed by some friends i gave a ride too earlier that afternoon before leaving Demopolis.
So all morning this morning I have been calling my 2 banks, credit cards, and changing all of my internet passwords such as eBay, pay pal, bill pay, etc. I closed my one of my bank accounts just incase. I have reported it to the Moss Point Police and they said this type of crime has been on the rise in this area.
But I have learned a couple of valuable lessons.
1. Double check to make sure everything is out of my vehicle even if I am exhausted.
2. Put as password to prevent my computer from being accessed, even if it is stolen.
3. Park in an area where they have visible security cameras.
4. Buy a electric shocker for your vehicle so if the do break in it will shack the hell out of them or do something.
If i had done the following I wouldn’t be as upset or worried as I am now. So now I have got to buy a new Laptop. I had all my presentation stuff I use for the church. I had all my family pictures on there, some of my Granny, who has passed away. I would do anything just to get those things back, and let them have the computer. But any way thanks for listening I am just bummed out and depressed about all this.

I had to stop and ask self,"Do I really need to be here", and self says,"Only in the cover of darkness."
I am so sorry to hear this Ranger.. I am always scared of things being stolen out of my car. It is always a traumatic experience. I had a purse stolen once..a long time ago and it still bothers me today. Have you thought to check out the pawn shops in that area..you might find it.
I am aware that my appearance, by mortal standards, is strange, even unsettling.
If I am to be an ambassador of my people, tradition dictates that I look the part.
Sadly, those who judge me on my looks alone ignore the causes I champion
Still, when the need arises, I am a warrior.
Wow Ranger. That is horrible. I had a similar experience while out of town on a business trip too. I walked out to get in my car and my car was not there. The funny thing was (although not funny at the time)that I had been Christmas shopping for my kids after my meeting and the creeps stole over $300 worth of toys that were in the back seat. I was more upset about that than the car. They found the car 4 months later. Of course it had been stripped. You just feel so violated don't you? I'm really sorry about your pictures. Those things are so precious and the people who steal other people things just have no heart. I hope somehow your things will be found.
That is awful Ranger! So you didn't have any of your personal files like the pics backed up somewhere? I know you are supremely ****ed off. I am sorry.
I know how u feel ranger. The day after Thanksgiving in 04 I walked out to my truck parked in a hospital parking lot in decatur and the drivers side window was busted out. I worked there that night 7p-7a. I was very upset. Whoever went through the console and emptied out onto the ground.Luckely, they only stole an old cooler from the back and missed the pistol under the seat. It really makes you feel violated.
Ranger-- Was that "our" PS2? Insurance should cover everything right?

Re: Laptop Stolen!!!!
Dude, sorry to hear that! I just let someone borrow my laptop or I would send it to you until you get back on your feet. Those basturds. People that do that sort of thing suck. I got plenty of software and bunches of X-box games that I don't play anymore if I can help, just hollar
Ranger, when you replace your laptop, consider purchasing this software to install and protect your computer. I been eyeing it at Office Max here for awhile now. I am now seriously considering purchasing it in light of what happened to your computer. It could very well happen to me or my wife.
Thanks Stick, I will buy it and put it on my new computer when I can get it.
It would be funny if the guy/gal that stole my **** turned it on and went to my homepage which by the way was D-Live and Saw this post. If so I just want to tell them that they are nothing but a sorry SOB that and that he/she is nothing but a piece of crap. Also that he/she is nothing but scum on this earth that can't make it in the real world so they resort to stealing others people fortune and damage their property. If he/she reads this I challange you, that is if you can read this, you piece of crap to email me. You got my email and just incase you dont send it to Ranger-007@demopolislive.com so I can meet you to whip your ***.
This will prob get spammed, But I just had to vent.
