Well, I couldn't get another kitty since I lost mine last year (hubby refused to allow it :mad: ) so the children and I were chosen by this little guy Saturday to be his new family. So far he has been a riot. I would have never thought such a little guy could be so hilarious and so sweet. He loves to snuggle on my neck and rub my cheek with his. Now if only this whole potty training thing I have been reading about works! :WTF

How pretty! My sister has birds, about 3 of them I believe. They can be a lot of fun and they live for almost as long as a human. What did you name him?

His name is Spanky. It was given to him when he was born so we decided we should keep it that way. He already says hello and night night, not to mention the laughing and whistling he does.

I would like a parrot one day....If I could find one not as annoying as my Mom's......Plus that bird will take your finger....Spanky looks sweet though...

Congratulations WUD....My Uncle has a bird named "Sassy" not sure what kind she's medium size I guess. She says "time to go to work" "wooo I'm tired"....and "feed the pretty bird" She also makes different sounds like a telephone ringing and a few other common household noises. It's pretty fun to be around when she's in a playful mood.
