mcdonald's rant
today i had my normal fare (when i eat there). ordered double cheese burgers plain. now, instead of the 1.00, they now cost 1.20. what the hell? pickles, mustard, onions, ketchup: free. 2 slices of cheese, 20 cents. and to top it off, the meat was bland, not the normal tastiness i usually experience. this does not bode well for my future eating at the golden arches.

I've never cared for M'Donalds hamburgers. Never has had much taste. They do however have the best milkshakes in town but that doesn't do well when you're on a diet so I just bypass it all together nowadays.

Best milkshake in town are you serious. Havent tried them in sometime but i always found Sonic to have the best Milkshakes. As far as the burgers i always found in my opinion that nothing beats a Mickey D's regular cheeseburger

As far as I'm concerned, nothing at McDonalds is worth buying. I think the only thing that keeps the McDonalds in Demopolis busy is that it has no real competition. Hardee's (at least the last time I was there) was good for nothing except breakfast. Sonic is not exactly the same style place (Walk in and Sit down), subway and Captn D's have totally diffrent style food. In the 8 years I lived in Vegas, I went to McDonalds probably 6 times. None of those times was it my ideal choice. Give me a BK, Wendy's, or Jack in the Box any day over clown burger.

Scott I'm with you Sonic makes a mean milkshake esp if you like em really thick. I like McDonald's regular cheeseburgers and chicken mcnuggets. The hospital that Amelia frequented for the first 5 years of her life had a Mickey D's in it and it was the closest place. After her last month and a half there it took me months to go back to one. I have children I have no option. I'm not crazy about BK. If I had to pick one I guess I would choose Wendy's hold the chili....

OH, yea, BK. We need a BK here so bad. I would love to have a Dairy Queen like we have back in Texas. The Dairy Queen in Linden I cant believe they can even call themselves that, it is a disgrace to all Dairy Queens.

DQ in Linden really went downhill since the Stones sold out of it. I used to love their burgers fries and steak sandwiches and now I can't stand them. If they would just grab a handfull of real hamburger and throw it on the grill ( enough to bite into) they would make a killing. Those little thin cardboard things they are calling burgers are embarrassing.

The Dairy Queen in Linden is so trashy and just down right nasty I don't even walk in there anymore. McDonalds is okay when you just want a quick fix to help your food cravings but we need something better.
