View the Milky Way at 10 million light years from the Earth. Then move through space towards the Earth in successive orders of magnitude until you reach a tall oak tree just outside the buildings of the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory in Tallahassee, Florida. Look through a telescope and you are looking at the past, something that happened a million years ago.

I just love how everything is so ordered...Look at the 3D model for a solar system and then the 3D model for a molecule. If they weren't labeled, could you tell them apart? Imagining the universe as we know it as just a part of an even bigger system we could not possibly grasp--talk about the 'big picture'
