Tuesday night i found a little kitten that is only 5 weeks old in the middle of the road. i came so close to hitting her b/c she was so small it just looked like trash. good news is she is fine. i took her to the vet wed. morning and had her checked out and she goes back in a few weeks to have her shots and flee dip. i wanna know how someone could dump something so cute and small out in the road and not feel guilty about it??? ive just got to pick out a name for her, its either LC (stands for lucky cat) or Cleo b/c it looks like she has black eyeliner on. what do ya'll think of those names? lets vote on it. sorry if i @#$%&ed about it but i would string someone up by thier little toe if i saw them dumping an animal.

I like Cleo for the whole Egyptian-cat correlation, but I like d-man's idea for pronouncing LC. Pet names that have personal/inside meanings are cool.
My dad is officially a dog person, but for some unexplainable reason cats just seem to keep adopting my parents out of the blue. There's been a BC, WC, and RC--black, white, and red(well, ok, Garfield-orange) of course. It's always been funny to me, because he doesn't really 'name' them as they're not really 'his', but it's way easier than saying 'that big white cat', or whatever. It's kind of like Holly GoLightly's cat that is welcome, but not quite 'owned'

I love the LC/Elsee kitty name idea. And I'm with ya...how do people just dump animals? It's horrible.

But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life."

My in-laws always had unusal names for their cats. One male was PC for people cat since he loved to be in your lap all the time and one female cat was Damn Cat because that was from the first words mom said when she saw the cat that Dennis brought home. "What is that damn cat doing in my house" LOL
