Doug Brooker was taken by helicopter to DCH last night. He is in serious condition and needs everyone's prayers. Please pray for him and his family during this time.

I didn't mean to be elusive. I just don't want to spread rumors because I am sketchy on some of the details. Apparently, Doug had a "brain bleed," which I think means an anneurism. He is undergoing tests, but I don't know too much beyond the fact that this is a very, very serious situation. Please, please pray for him and his family.

Thanks to everyone for their prayers. Doug is doing much better. God is faithful, and I have no doubt that He has answered the many prayers that have been offered for this family. I just want to publically praise and thank Him for His wonderful works and His kindness toward us all.

They are running more tests today, but I think the prognosis is now very good. My husband saw Doug last night and was extremely relieved at his improvement. I was extremely worried yesterday, but now, by the grace of God, it appears that everything is going to be okay.
