Hi.. Where is your business located? I am happy with the groomer I am using but usually have a hard time getting up with her. I would be glad to try you out next time.

Hi Justme! I have just received your email. I will be happy to groom your dog. Will Monday be ok? I do this from my home. My business is just now picking up a little bit, so I will be getting my license real soon. I have groomed cocker spaniels before, but not professionally. But now I am ready to do it. Just tell me what you would like done. Monday anytime would be good for me. You can give me a call at 287-2187 and I will give you directions to my home. Hope to hear from you soon!
Thanks

Carla does a great job. She groomed Chi Chi for me the other day and did a wonderful job on her nails and even trimmed the hair on the pads of her feet and her little bottom. LOL I've got to get my other critters over there soon. :)

bamanut01, huggy needs to be fully groomed......You may be right, brown_eyed_girl, but he hates a bath as bad as he hates having his toenails clipped. I never made you do anything you didn't want to do, and I am not going to make him do something he doesn't want to do (except get his toenails clipped).

I just wanted everyone to know that I told my mother-in-law about blossumgirl's dog grooming. She took her dog over there and was very pleased with the work she did. I recommend her to anyone with dogs. Thanks Blossumgirl!

Carla when you get time, we need to get Frodo done again, especially the nails and his ears. Let me know when you can fit him in. Also Chi Chi's nails are needing a trim soon too.

Oh WOW! How wonderful and you're right down the street from me!! I've tried to get in touch with a groomer here several times and have had no luck. Do you have any experience with Shiah Tzus? How 'bout Yorkshire Terriers?? My Shih Tzu is old and as typical with the breed has skin problems. I "hack" on his hair (and it looks "hacked") and he's in dire need of full service. I'll give you a call tomorrow since it's "Family time" now. Im so excited!!

LOL, yes, I have experience with ****zu's and terriers. I am new, but have done both of them and cockerspaniels are very popular around here. I will look forward to your call... Talk to ya later!!!!

Just to update, I had a nice chat with the groomer today. What a pleasant person. My little "gizmo" has an appointment Monday. With my "hack job" I'm almost ashamed.

When my wife and I moved to Demopolis, we went to the Demopolis Animal Shelter and we fell in love with a yellow lab puppy so we adopted him and named him Sam. We will have to bring Sam to you sometime, it sounds like you run a top-notch dog spa & salon so Sam will be pampered after spending a day with you.......
Do you know of someone who does doggy training? I would love for Sam to take some doggy obedience classes but I don't know anyone who offers it..

I am not sure who does the training, but depending on how you want to train, I may have a little advice for you. I would really love to groom Sam.. Bring him by sometime. My number is 287-2187. Thank you!

After seeing this post last month, I told my daughter. She took her "baby" a cocker spaniel. Katie looked great, she could not have been more pleased. Very Highly recommended.

Just to give my support and .02...
Carla did a wonderful job with my cocker spaniel also. Not only did she give her "breaks," but also treats. I'm not sure she wanted to go home with me!! Since then, I've recommended several people to her...one of which used her this week. She is so sweet and you can tell the dogs really like her. That means everything to me since my dog is my baby. So, thanks, Carla! I'll be calling you soon to get one more summer shaving in before fall (do we even have fall around here? ha ha)!
blossumgirl
07-29-2005, 07:43 AM
LOL! I guess we have fall. That might be what they call it, but I haven't figured out why yet! We usually just kinda skip that time of the season.. It goes from extremely hot, to too cold! lol.. Thanks alot for the referrals. I love doing what I do, and treating your babies like my own makes it a happier experience for all of us! Just call me Justme, and I will be happy to do it! TLC Grooming for your pet... Thanks!

Thank you Stonehenge for the kind words. I try my best. I don't rush to groom them since they need to look really good and I have to gain their trust. They usually trust me pretty well by the time it is over. Thanks alot!

I took my Shih Tzu to Carla on Monday and she did a good job (she had a hard job cause he had not been groomed for a while with the exception of my shameful hack jobs :o ). It really helps that she's close by, we'll be repeat customers for sure!! Thanks Carla!
