Armed Forces Day
Saturday, May 21 is Armed Forces Day. I want to personally say "Thank You!" to everyone who has served, past and present. This old, broken down, Air Force/Mississippi Air National Guard member salutes you!!

The local Boys/Cub Scouts conducted a flag retirement this morning on the square in Demopolis. This was an Armed Forces Day activity as well as a program need in the commmunity. Besides the participants there were about 15 people to view the ceremony. I deduct most of our local leaders and DHS fans were in Montgomery for the baseball championship games. It was a great event that should have had more viewers.
