On May 2nd at 8:00pm there will be a pool tournament!!!!! We are trying to get as many shooters to enter. There will be cash and other prizes for fist and second place. So if you like to shoot pool or think you play well enough to win please come out and shoot. And if you like the "beer" , it will only cost $1.00 for the shooters!!! The tournament will be held at Hoot's Club. There is a $5.00 dollar entry fee per person. Prizes include, membership for year to the club( its a photo I.D.), 75% of the player's pot, Hoot's Club T-shirt. Now I know that alot of you can shoot pool, so come out and play!!

MY GOD WHAT IS THE WORLD COMING TO WHEN HOOTS REOPENS!
When did it close? Last time I was that way was around 96 or so.

If i am not mistaken at one time it was closed do to some serious fire damage.

Hoot's was closed for several years because the building fell into disrepair and became unsafe to occupy. Hoot Gibson recently renovated the building and reopened Hoot's Club. It is actually pretty nice since renovation.

i spent a good part of my misguided youth there. I heard that it was actually bigger and better than ever. i have just out grown all the drinking

Not bigger, but the facilities are definitely better! Now if they would just drag in some good bands on the weekends, it would be perfect!
