I have a new 17 inch monitor and Demoplislive fills the whole screen but web pages like CNN only fill about 2/3. What can I do to fix this?

Have you tried to adjust your Display settings?

When you load a web page, such as CNN, is full-page selected (middle button in upper right corner of page)?

The problem (which it really isn't) is not with the monitor or browser settings. It's all in the design of the website. CNN has set a max width on its page. This is for uniformity and keeps their site looking consistant at different resolutions. I could do the same with Dlive if I so choose, however the overall structure of this site is such that it can handle the stretching without looking bad.

But, I just installed an 18" monitor, and CNN and all other pages load full-screen. Occasionally, a page will load at less than full-screen, and I just click on the "maximize" button to go to full-screen.

Can you take a screen shot?

I get the same thing on my computer, try going to foxnews.com, it's a better network anyway. :)

SInce we're talking about monitors, I have a question.

Does a DVI out signal to a LCD monitor take more watts from the PSU than a RGB signal? My monitor was working fine until I tried to install a new Video Card, not I can't get a signal to the DVI out.

Have you tried plugging an adapter to you DVI to make it a RGB to see if its getting any signal at all?

I have got one if want to try it.

My moniter has outputs for both. What you can do for me is test my cable though.

I will bring my Laptop it has a DVI port on it. I will bring it and we can check to see if your the cable going to the monitor is working. Just let me know when.
