Need Prayers
My grandfather Reginald Mackey, fell out at the nursing home yesterday, and hit his head giving him a pretty nasty bump. The doctors don't know whether it was another stroke or him trying to be independent( he can't do for himself).
Please pray for my family durning this ordeal. I sure hope it wasn't another stroke.

I am so sorry to hear this I sincerely hope it wasn't a stroke also. I will be praying for your Grandfather and your family. Hope all turns out well.l Good luck and God Bless. I will definitely keep him in my prayers. I can understand what you're goin through. Before my grandmother went to the nursing home I was staying with her at her home and one night I heard a thud. I got up to check on her and she had fallen in the bathroom, hitting her head on the sink as she fell. She ended up being ok, but it was her being independent. The nurses at the nursing home have had to put an alarm pad on her bed, anytime she gets up without their assistance, it goes off.
Some people complain because God put thorns on the roses; others praise Him because He put roses among the thorns

Well im coming back to give everyone an update. Paw-paw was just trying to be independent, so he can show everyone that he can come home.... but that didn't work out like he planed how they have to put alarm pads under him..... now he is less independent than what he tried to prove that he was....

Thank you for your prayers and concerns for my family.... they were greatly apreciated.

The nursing home staff is great and they will take excellent care of him. Just keep reminding him that he needs to do what they say if he wants to get better. I know this from our dealings when my dad was a patient/
