View Full Version : *New Video* Take a tour of DLive
If you could walk around inside of DLive, what would you see? We now have the footage available :)
This is a LARGE file (46.2 mb). It will take around 5 minutes or so on DSL to download, obably 2 1/2 hours for those on dialup (sorry!). The video is just over 9 minutes long, and (we feel) worth the download if you've ever lived here in Demop.

Great Job Guys but I cant believe You didnt go By AngelWings
Gallery!! Oh well maybe a good idea would be to do different Ones Homes the next time You did that and business's!!
The trip took 3 cameras to get all the footage seen. It's running at about 5 times the speed we were actually travelling (except the scenes around the landing). There were sections of town we wanted to include but just didn't have enough camera space to get it all (it was also hard to "point" the camera at landmarks without driving into them).

Ohhhhhh...... Now where's the pepto? Just kidding...
Great job guys! I knew exactly where you were...well almost all the time. You lost me briefly after you left the country club area but I caught up with you pretty quick again after that. :)
Love the tear at end Jeff, nice touch. LOL

I LOVED it guys! Thanks for doing things like this. It brought back memories and made me miss Demopolis a little.
Freakin Sweet !!! I can't wait for the dvd ! We had so much fun making it, at the end were you see Jeff in the back of the truck and Dave is driving, guess who is on the road all by himself and alone ? I believe Dave is making a DVD of the whole thing, with outakes, jokes and a alternate ending ,LPL killing a Hobo with a full Cherry Vanilla Dr. Bob, just kidding, No I repeat No Hobo's were injured in the making of this film...........................except one.
Love the tear at end Jeff, nice touch. LOL
Did I convey the sadness well?!?

This video is awesome.. I fell like I have been to Demop. today. You guys ought to try and market a service like this to the Real Estate companies in town. While planning a move there, I have been visiting their websites quite often, and think that a short 360 video view of a house is more helpful than a couple of still views.. Just a thought.. Thanks again for my short trip home!

I'll get some copies (AVI file only) done up for the Smart Shopper to have. We'll be working on a DVD that you can watch on the TV later on, which will also have the other video's we've made so far, plus maybe some we haven't finished yet.
Thanks, Let me know. I will be glad when I can get dsl out my way.

For the record this project took around 4 hours to strategize, set up, and implement. Please don't tell me everyone else here doesn't have a few hours a week they get to spend goofing off!

Was that shot over the Labor Day holiday? Flags in the median, blue tarp on City Hall, just trying to get a timeset on it.
4 hours isn't bad. But that much time in a car, at today's prices could make this a high budget film! For the sequel you should sell ad space on the hood, or just off to the side of the camera like in race cars....Just a thought....
Bump, for the hard work !

Well let's see how many D'live addicts are on this site? I think it's safe to say more than a few of us have a couple hours to goof off a day. Them Arcade scores to go up by themselves. OHHHHH hope I didn't hit a nerve! lmao  Yall I'm kidding....well kinda!

We had I think around 40 minutes of actual driving time, including the stops, camera changes, etc. It was a blast making it.
