OK, I understand if you ring up merchandise and your register has less money than what you sold out. What I can't understand is forcing a cashier to pay for the gas of some loser that drove off without paying. Unless the station has a "pay before you pump" policy(which I can't think of one in Demopolis that does). How can a cashier stop you from not paying after you pump your gas? I understand Elks has this policy in place. I don't see how it's fair.
