Demopolis Singers Needs Your Help
This year I am the President of the Demopolis Singers. We are doing something a little different. We're trying to raise funds so we can purchase a sound system for the group so we don't have to always borrow one for our performances. Here is the info on the sponsorship program:

Those gracious enough to sponsor us with a donation will be listed in the programs at both of the performances during Christmas on the River week. It can be an individual or a business or group. I was wondering if maybe Demopolis Live members would like to go in together and donate towards it. It would be a great source of exposure for us here as a community concerned group. I know of 4 D'live members right off that are are members of the Singers, myself, Aufan, Red and xerorepman. Could be more since some of the new members I'm not familiar with. I know dagenerals parents are both members of the Singers.

Below are the levels of Sponsorship.

Encore - $200 or more
Chorale - $100
Serenade - $50
Medley - $25

That brings me to one more request. Until we are able to purchase a sound system, we need to find a good one to use for the upcoming 2 performances during the week of COTR. It needs to have a CD player with it. If anyone knows of one that we might be able to borrow, please get up with me ASAP.

Ill try to get by there this week Angelwing!! I woudl love ot do wjhat I can and I knwo We dont have time ot do this right now but I would gladly cook for the group if thye wished to raise money that way as well!! Sounds great Bejar! I love to hear fundraiser ideas. I'll pass them on to our committee once we get it formed. LOL Hopefully that will be tomorrow night. We have big plans for the Singers and want it to grow and become something the community will be proud of will participate in. We have some awesome talent in it and I know the concerts are going to be wonderful this year.

Haw about a "Chord" level for those who donate less tha $25?
Check with Mike Black with the JROTC at DHS. Our group borrowed a PA system from him once. It had CD capability.
