Gas is $2.25 in Thomasville any one know why there is such a price difference less than 60 miles away?

My daughter was telling me that the gas price was much less in Thomasville when she went last weekend. Almost worth the drive to go there and fill up!

Gas in Meridian is $2.26-2.29. My dad said that gas in Tuscaloosa is still at $2.51.

Give it time. I think as the refineries come back up to full production from all the hurricanes, we'll see gas prices continue to fall. Just pray that the gas some of you will need to heat your houses along with the heating oil people up north use will also come down.

OIL COMPANIES, posted for their 3 quarter was in the MILLIONS of dollars.

I agree! Exxon Miobil just announced a 10 BILLION dollar PROFIT for the third quarter of this year!

When I heard about Exxon's 3rd quarter earnings, I hit the ceiling! Now they're talking about congressional hearings and investigations to discuss this....what's there to discuss or investigate? Essentially, they said bend over and we were forced to ask how far.

This issue hits home with me since we own our own small trucking business. What used to cost $800 - $900 for fuel each week has become over $2000 each week!! We struggle with this and they're reporting THAT kind of profit?
