What Demopolis team should be considered "Team of the Year" for 2003?

As good a year that DHS football had you have to give it to the softball team. THEY BROUGHT HOME THE HARDWARE!!!!!!!!!!

I voted for the football team. I wouldn;t take away anything from the Lady Tigers-- They brought us a state title and deserve all the praises they can get. Why I voted for the football team was more what the team did for the community. I can't remember another time in the school recent history that a school team brought a whole community together like it did. The undefeated season, getting as far into the playoffs as they did; I think what they did last year will be talked about for years to come. I know there are alot more fans of high school sports now because of them.

I have to say the Lady Tigers. Attended every football game, but one due to a Church Trip and every Softball game but 3. I agree the football team did bring the community together. The Lady Tigers got a State Championship, without very much fan support. There were basically Parents and a few teachers at ome games. There were about 3 fans that traveled everywhere regularly with the team. Thats not much support other than parents and teachers but the support they had was given 1000%. In my opinion, Hands Down DHS Lady Tigers! GO LADY TIGERS!!!
