walmart opening 1-25-05
I happened to see one of the new Asst managers of the supercenter and asked when it was to open. I was told me this date. I guess we can all look forward to this and count down the days.

This has been reported on this site before. The Demopolis Supercenter will open January 25, 2006 (not 2005) and the Livingston WM is scheduled to close on January 26.

The new wal-mart is going to be good but i believe that most of the folks from livingston and places around there will be going to Meridian to buy because taxes over there are less than here. But I do believe the new wal-mart will be great for Demopolis

I will definitely have to come and check it out once it opens eventhough I usually shop at the Supercenter in Thomasville.
