Nope. This is a LPL and Shorstuff production production for the whole site. I promise you right now it will be awsome. But it is only for the adults of dlive. We are planning on breaking the news after Christmas. So everybody will have to wait and see. And for those who know, lets keep it a surprise until the New Year.

Shortstuff, You an dLPL let Me know when this is to come about as We are talking of a crawfish Boil also sometimes and I have no trouble iwht any of it lol as I love get togethers, it might be this could be combined as well sayone during the day the other at night!!!! So if We coudl tlak about dates to let everyone know so they can plan

Since most if not all of us have to eat lunch somewhere, I suggest we have a regular lunch meeting such as the "fourth Tuesday" or "second Thursday" of each month. Only the meeting place would change. Rotate among the eating places in town. We first met at La Grand Fiesta. Next we could meet at Smokin' Jacks, The Farm House, Napoleans, or even in the evening at The Red Barn. An early morning breakfast at The Farm House or Hardees would be OK. No agenda, no officers, just someone stepping up to reserve enough table space. Of course we all may not make each get together each month but it would be something out- of towners can plan their visits around.

That is a good idea Sarge but I think they are tlaking about an old fashioned HoeDown and get together here so that out of towners might can come!!!! Would be on the weekend or such!!!!!!!

I chose spring cause I cant wait till July to see ya'll again! Need a fix every couple of months!

I think a 4th of july thing is in order also so lets plan on it as well as secret thing in spring.....that way both are well done.

Well fridays are best for out of towners, or for me anyway, hard to get out during the week...kids, school etc....
But would love a monthly thing cant come to all but some, also I think a mardi gras thing would be cool good idea...

We need a kid thing.....put thinking caps on.....I can face paint at any event....
or maybe get some of the teenagers together to babysit at central location for kids and pay them all something set, then they make money keep the kiddies and parents get night out....hmmmm Emily???????

we need some Dlive fund raiser events for these parties, or some Dlive merchandise to buy so we can just raise money for the events during the year, not to take away from Dlive contributions but like a Dlive mug, mousepad, or cap, or t-shirts, ya know so us members can have the stuff just money go towards gatherings.....Just a suggestion.....Wiggy could get kids or her to design....coool huh?

Also how many play instruments, like a good old fashion guitar thing, Mike plays and would just love to get together with more that do.....Hubbie involvement ;)

Those are all good ideas! Dennis plays the guitar too if I can talk him into bringing it. He plays for our church every Sunday night. I still do get the "hint". I don't watch much regular TV shows so I guess it's from that.

yea pap2 that sounds good and would love to help with it, just let me know when it might go down. So I could put in to be off. i know rock and coach35 would be down for it.

We could have a set monthly meeting time and still have special weekend meetings. The pavalion at the landing can be reserved for groups. I'll pay the $25 reservation fee if we want to have a party there. The site has a grill, restrooms, playground for children, plenty of tables, electric outlets for music, a good view of the river and good parking. Also it is not too far from a couple of dlive members homes.

My son plays a guitar very well also. Maybe we can get them to jam for us.

I shall be in Demopolis the weekend of Feb 4/5. Since I live so far away, is it possible for some of you guys to do something that weekend? Even if its something small like dinner on Sat night. I don't know when
I will get back to Demopolis, but for certain reasons I suspect that I will be in and out for several quick trips this spring/summer.
