Look like the China Buffet is open again. I noticed two lighted "OPEN" signs in the windows. Looks like the KFC will be closed for a while. I was told they were undergoing extensive renovations. Does anyone know why the land behind the Westside branch of Robertson bank is being cleared? New business? When I was in Wal-Mart yesterday I noticed a lot of out shelf space and hooks that were out of stock. It looks like they have quit ordering some stock items to prepare for the closing in January.
KFC is suppose to be building on the corner lot of Hwy 80 and Cedar Ave. on the corner lot near the hospital. I don't know why because it is a very small lot.:dunno:

I ate at the China Buffet last night. They have completely renovated the inside. It now looks like every other Chinese Buffet you go to. I have to say I was not impressed at all with the food. It was just what you expect to get from a buffet. IMO it was NOT worth the $10 it cost to eat. Some of the food was ok but some of it was not editable.

I heard KFC would be closed until next May for extensive renovations. I thought the hospital owned the land at the red light?

We ate at the new China Buffet lastnight also, as a matter of fact, we were sitting right beside Mustang65 and his gang. I agree, the food was not GREAT it was just OK, but the inside does look alot better.

The hospital did own the land, but the company I work for had a work order for that location for KFC. We couldn't understand it either.

KFC needs to close for a while! Last time I went in to buy some chicken, guess what they were out of CHICKEN!
