Anyone think he's guilty?

I personally think it's a case of "I'm fixin to get paid". It seems like the equivilant of Bill Gates shoplifting a bottle of Pepsi from a gas station. Yes, I know rich folks steal, and men rape who shouldn't have to, but this doesn;t seem to fit. No prior history of voilence towards women, a BEAUTIFUL wife and child at home. He was in Colorado to have surgery, not getting drunk and carousing around the town. I believe to commit rape, just like murder, it has to be in your nature.

After some internet scouring, I was able to get some info on the "victim".

Her name is Katelyn Kristine Faber. She's 19 years old. Here's what most believe are pictures of her.

Read somewhere today that she was hospitalized recently as a danger to herself. What does this say about her mental stablity and self worth

wife and child at home" doesnt mean that he has the right to rape anyone...and I also know a man who had no prior history of violence who murdered someone over a "girlfriend"...trust me, people will go against their so-called nature in certain situations...

and Scott...concerning the "victim's" "mental stability and self-worth"...if the girl was raped...and I'm not saying she was...I don't see why she wouldnt be hospitalized in such a manner...rape can cause the victim to become depressed to the point of suicide...

The hospitilization happened 4 months prior to the incident with Kobe. Amber you are right no man has the right to rape a woman but in this case i think that the sex was consensual and that once it was over she hollered rape to draw attention to herself. If she was a danger to herlself 4 months prior then she must not be in the right frame of mind and in my humble opinion she was looking for the spotlight

has bryant even made any statements concerning this? i imagine i am way out of the proverbial loop, but i havent really heard anything out of him on the matter...

Bryant held a press conference where he admitted to consensual sex but no rape.

I can understand out-of-character voilence if there is a motive, but in this case Bryant would have to have some kind of insanity to force this girl to have sex.

Sadly, what may also be a factor here is the fact she's from a town that's prob 90% white, and for her to be having interracial relations with anyone could be worse on her there than accusing an innocent man of rape.
