From what I've heard, the guy that was running the place is opening his own place.

The messed up thing about Linden is: No matter how bad the service is at the DQ, they make money. the last few times I was there the service and atmosphere was equal to a high school lunch line. The flip is: no matter how good a new restaurant is in Linden, they struggle.

Good luck with the new place. DQ is supposed to reopen sometime this month.

It's easy to make money on a business when there is nothing else to compete against you. Linden doesn't exactly have a wide array of choices.

The thing is, whenever something does try to compete, it doesn't seem to work out. Now, the food places located in convenience stores, such as Subway and the Cornerstore, those do OK.

Well I don't think the former owner of the Dairy Queen had much choice. The owner of the building did not renew his lease, so he had to go. The guy who owns the DQ in Thomasville is going to be inhabiting the DQ in Linden within a week or so, still DQ. Maybe it'll be better, maybe not. All I got to say is if I can't get that famous DQ tartar sauce to put on a chicken tender sammich or a large cup to go with a chicken finger dinner, I'm gonna be pissed! They don't have the DQ tartar sauce at the one in Thomasville. Been there, done that, and lost!

Oh man, my wife is going to be PISSED if that tartar sauce isn't available. I thought she was the only human on earth that ordered a chicken finger sandwich with tartar sauce:)

How can you not order a chicken finger sandwich or box without the tartar sauce?? I will be so glad when the DQ does open back up. I know there are other (better) restuarants in Linden, but there is still nothing like the Dairy Queen. The one in T'ville was really good and up to date. I am hoping the new owner will do as good a job with this one as he did in T'ville.
