Laptop Keys

Ahhhhh! It is a long story, but I have a Dell Inspiron 3800 and I have a missing key. It is the letter "C". I can still use that particular key, but if i don't get another one you guys will be sending flowers to my funeral. To my husband, the computer always breaks when I am using it. Please, I know there are some computer junkies out there with tons of old and busted computers that you just can't bear to part with so you use them for parts and peices. HELP!!!!!

Well, If I had a "C" I would certainly send it your way. I've worn most of the letters off of my laptop keys. I can just use nail polish? pretty colors, of course ;) Ranger seems to have the low down on some computer stuff, maybe he can help you? He is my current Computer Guru.

Is the key just completely gone? Whole button and everything?

The metal part that actually makes the letter show up is still there, that is why I can use the key. But the covering of the key is gone. It just popped off. So what I need is the thing that covering of the key to pop back down over the metal part of the keyboard.

I've got a spare keyboard or two for Dell laptops. The letter should fit.
