Possible Holy War
With the radical Islamic viewpoint that all of us Christians and Jews are infidels, do you believe that we are in the beginnings of a holy war? This viewpoint of us infidels is apparently held by Al Quada and Hamas, and most of the hordes of muslims in the world who supprort them.

Do you believe this, or do you take a different view of what we are hearing from Hamas and Al Quada?

What exactly would have to happen for you to consider "this" a "holy war" ? I don't think all muslims in the world are suddenly going to attack the US, UK, France, Italy, etc.... A holy war is a little too big of a term for what is happening now or even what COULD happen... the group of people that feel that way about the US is really small...

I feel the same way. Its like an Iranian comedian once said, the Muslims they show on TV that hate Americans and want to kill us all are the minority. It would be like a TV crew asking the leader of the Klu Klux Klan how he felt about the Arabs.

I think that Hamas is going to start becoming a whole lot more political and a whole lot less religious extremist now that they are actually accountable for what happens with Palestine....sort of like the IRA's moderation after it actually became a political organization rather than just a terrorist organization.

Now al Queda...they are just wackos. But as mmcd and PA said, they are at least a small minority of wackos. Still very dangerous, of course, but not capable of starting an entire holy war, in my estimation.
