Hi, I came across these boards while searching for info on Demopolis and the surrounding areas. I hope this was an okay place to post this.
My husband has applied for a job in Livingston and if he recieves a decent offer we are planning on moving to Demopolis (he's from there and Huntsville). I am trying to see about searching available jobs in the area for me, but don't know where to look from out of state. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of work are you looking for? There isn't a really good online source of available jobs for our area(I wish businesses would post jobs here). I'll be happy to post any jobs listed in local papers or any I know about personally.

Also, if your going to be looking for a house in the area, I can recommend an excellent real estate agent.

I am looking for clerical type work. Since that's mainly what I've done. Although I wouldn't mind working at a vets office if they'd be willing to hire someone who loves animals w/o real vet exp.:p
As far as a home, we are thinking of just renting b/c my husband would like to eventually work at a larger university. So if you have any idea of pet friendly rental appartments or homes that would be helpful. But if not that's okay. I appreciate the help. We are still waiting to hear back if he's been considered for the position or not.
