One California town has passed the toughest no smoking ordinance in the US.
Not wanting to start the whole smoking thing again (well maybe) but thought it was interesting.
According to a Los Angeles Times article in 2002, residents breathed substandard air six out of every seven days. "Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib. Not from his feet to be walked on. Not from his head to be superior. But from his side to be equal. Under the arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved."
The screaming of an upset baby can damage your hearing. Kids can scream at levels up to 90 decibels, and permanent damage can be caused at 85 dB. One dB is the minimum amount of sound detectable by the human ear.
They trick you into thinking that they are cuddly little bundles of joy...but don't be fooled. They are actually highly-trained instruments of deafness!
We must stop them! The hearing of all adults is at stake!
